MISSION
The Accounting Cycle Analyst ensures accounting quality of activities of one or more accounting cycles in accordance with Group-defined deadlines and local and Group accounting standards.
He/She is responsible for accounting data and economic consistency for accounts in his/her scope (companies/Cycles).
He/She is responsible for critical tasks that are part of accounting closing process.
He/She may play the role of Key User on a define scope upon the line manager’s decision.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Critical tasks to perform control, produce monthly accounts and close books within deadlines.
Quality and completeness of information recorded in Subledger, General Ledger and also all detailed accounting reports according to the cycle concerned. Action plan to address non quality and improve quality.
Analysis and control of cycle transactions, reporting to Company (ies)'s CESP Leader and Local Accounting Manager.
Cycle(s)’ deliverables and data necessary for Legal auditors and tax/regulations controllers are provided within plan deadlines and comply with expected quality level.
Defined standards for all CESP’s/outsourcer’s accounting activities are implemented.
Regarding the Key User part: first level contact towards operational people concerning any question about his/her scope, ERP tools and other systems tests, training service.
Main point of focus is the activities for CA, however, will be active backup for PAFA MX & US cycle reviewer.
Produce monthly accounts: Reconciliation and Justification in Blackline/ARCS and action plan creation and follow up of open items.
Month End Closing: See SOW for detailed activities, ensure the quality of the closing activities, set processes in place to ensure accurate Financial Information of the companies within the CA Cycle Review, execute specific activities for CA: mass copy and depreciation tax books run monthly.
Monthly accounting review: Prepare and provide explanations for month end close, attend monthly meetings with GR of production companies during mid-month, prepare and provide explanations for GR for small companies in a quarterly basis.
Leases: Cycle reviewer performs or reviewes leases activities for CA companies and Fenner companies: additions, retirements, modifications in k-shuttle system monthly.
External audit: Execute and delivery on a timely basis all the PWC requirements or any other Local requirements upon agreement by the line manager, provide information for Local Financial Statement preparation.
Internal audit: Execute and delivery on a timely basis all the internal control requirements.
Weekly meetings and relationship with Conduent/Pune: contribute in weekly meetings with Pune/ Conduent’s team to address daily transactional tasks to be followed under the group and local rules.
Ensure consistence and correct application on Doc de Base: procedures and tasks must be held in accordance with Group norms.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCESSFULLY CONTRIBUTE TO OUR PURPOSE?
4-5 years of experience as general accountant.
English C1 is required
