KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

The Information Technology Solution Architecture Specialist – Sales & Services should be an Experienced Salesfore.com(SFDC) Architect who could assess present technology and future technological trends to provide and design robust IT Solutions related to SalesForce.com that ensures seamless information flow among different systems involved. This person should be able to provide guidance, orientation, Proof of concepts on the design of non-standard solutions that could practically implement while being compliant with the business processes. This person masters the business process integration for End to end on Sales & Services processes and related subprocesses throughout multiple systems, without limiting him/herself to existing Salesforce.com and technologies such as  SAP, SAP PI, Kafka, Other middleware etc.. and Business Intelligence. This role also promotes innovation and best ways to leverage IT solutions.

Promote and educate IT Advisor, BPO, BU and Functions on leading practices in IT

  • In collaboration with BPO organization, discuss impacts and opportunity with business stakeholders on key issues related to systems to contribute to the innovation pipeline.
  • Educates the BPMs and the IT Advisors about our standard systems capabilities so they can understand what are the limitations and capabilities.
  • Conduct existing solutions reviews and recommend improvements to be considered in the portfolio of opportunities.

Support the IT Advisor with expertise on complex solutions, systems or innovative features

  • The IT Solution Architecture Specialist collaborates with the IT Advisor on non-standard requests and act as the expert of the solutions involved in Order to Cash process.
  • In Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and IT teams the IT Solution Architecture Specialist will develops high-level solutions design while ensuring the total cost of ownership is considered.
  • Assist in the business requirement gathering, business process redesign and documentation as needed.
  •  Authority for the Design, TCO estimate and performance of all elements of the proposed solution.
  • Consults with internal and external experts to ensure the integrated solution architecture is sound and well-integrated.

Coordinate with Architecture Team

  • Promote the Enterprise Architecture guidelines (the principles, standards, best practices and architecture guidelines on Data, Integration, BI, Infrastructure, Security etc.).
  • Establish consensus on any deviation from the Target Architecture with the Architecture Team.
  • Participate to the development of the target Architecture.
  • Actively participate and support decisions of the Governance Committee to ensure interoperability and integration of all processes.

Maintain a sound design throughout the project implementation

  • Support the implementation teams, during the detailed design phase to ensure that business outcomes, value and target performance of the solution are achieved.
  • Come in support during challenging time of the implementation.
  • Responsible to identify and help the team manage any significant risks if the new solution cannot meet the expectations.

Technical Change Management

  • Revise and approve all KDS (Key Data Structure) and BPD (Business Process Document) changes, including technical and functional changes, to aligned on best practices, standards and target design.
  • Provide technical expertise to MDM Team as part of Data Governance to ensure data standards are aligned to target global design while considering legacy solutions impacts.
  • Identify and manage the impacts of the changes on other solutions, projects and releases.
  • Good communication with the various stakeholders involved in IT architecture (business, platforms or technical teams, the entire network of architects), especially:
    • within the network of architects and build teams, the promotion of standardization, the promotion and emergence of good practices and, when appropriate, the reuse of existing IT solutions,
    • the ability to explain the added value of IT architecture, the missions and roles of IT architects.

Ensure Continuous improvement

  • Participate in root cause analysis in the Demand, Design or Delivery process and ensure their continuous improvement in collaboration with IT Advisor, BPO team and Delivery Teams.
  • The provision of the essential elements for choosing and planning IT projects, especially for application or technological obsolescence management.

EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System or any related discipline.
  • Master's Degree in business administration would be an asset
  • 7-10 years of experience in major Application Software project implementation / Portfolio Management related experience with Saleforce.com(SFDC) and other CRM/ERP solutions.
  • Experience in Salesforce platform expertise is required
    • Core Clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.
    • Declarative Tools: Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules.
    • Programmatic Tools: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
    • Data Model Design: Object relationships, custom objects, fields, record types.

  • Expertise in Salesforce Solution Architecture
    • Architecture Design: Expertise in multi-cloud architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling.
    • Technical Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams through complex Salesforce transformations.
    • Business Impact: Delivered solutions that improved operational efficiency by [XX]%, reduced technical debt, and enhanced customer experience.

  • Value added professional certifications;
    • Salesforce Certified Application Architect
    • Salesforce Certified System Architect
    • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Experience in working in an Agile / Lean environment would be an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with different stakeholders.
