  • Base salary based on experience, starting annual salary for this position is 73 040$ and bonus

Your role and what we need you for:

  • Within empowered multi-profession project teams, you will carry out material studies to design composite mixtures that meet product and industrial challenges.
  • You will thus be at the interface of the Materials and Products R&D Tracks or Wheels, in co-design Product Materials Processes Methods and Measurements, to bring the maturity of new compounds towards qualification by helping to remove risks and ensuring intellectual protection.
  • With the aim of proposing innovative designs, you will collaborate in the development of the knowledge and know-how of the profession through the development of tools and methods, simulation and data exploitation. Our Materials Laboratory is also available to quickly identify the best solutions.
  •  In addition to your professional skills, you will develop your management, communication and leadership skills through a large global network both centrally and with the factories.
  • You will be offered professional training and support by the team throughout your position to increase your skills and develop yourself.
  • You will also benefit from the support of the R&D community through networks and shared knowledge bases.

What do you need to possess for being successful:

  • You have a college or a bachelor’s degree in composite materials or experience relevant to the position.
  • You have between 3 and 5 years of experience in the field of rubber or materials.
  • You have a good knowledge of the chemistry and physics of materials and composites.
  • You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English) in order to be able to communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
  • You demonstrate analytical skills, collaboration, curiosity and dynamism with a desire to develop your skills and the technical field.
  • This position may require you to travel occasionally to the site in North America or Europe (1 to 2 times per year).
